In the fall of 2017, with Thelonious Sphere Monk's centenary in mind, Andrés Vial went into the studio to record "Sphereology Volume One", the first in a series of Monk tribute albums on the Chromatic Audio label. The album features Peter Bernstein, Dezron Douglas, Rodney Green, Martin Heslop and André White.
